Helping Local Small Businesses

I have successfully completed communication projects for the City of West Palm Beach Office of Economic Opportunity, specifically focused on providing workshops and marketing consultations to small businesses. Here's a summary of the project and examples of the communications materials utilized:

The project involved presenting a series of three workshops on branding and helping small businesses improve their impact and opportunities in West Palm Beach and the surrounding area. The goal was to empower small businesses to present themselves professionally and enhance their chances of success. To promote these workshops, I collaborated with the office staff to create press releases highlighting the value and benefits of attending the workshops. These press releases were distributed to various media outlets and used across different communication channels.

Additionally, I conducted one-hour marketing consultations for City of West Palm Beach-certified Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) or Minority/Women Business Enterprises (M/WBEs). These consultations focused on marketing strategies, website development, and brand identity to increase visibility and opportunities for these businesses. To announce and promote these services, I collaborated with the office staff to create press releases highlighting the marketing consultations' benefits and outcomes. These press releases were also utilized in various communication channels to reach the target audience.
