10 Things You Can Do To Market Your Business Online
Consumers are looking online first for the services and products they need. Your business can fill the need for them, but how will you let them know that?
Here are some things you can do to market your services and products to get the word out!
Host a Free Training – Record a quick video training, host a webinar, or free call sharing your expertise. Remember to offer your services or products at the end for interested consumers who want more information or assistance.
Promote a Discount or a Special Offer – This is a great way to attract new and old clients. Give them an incentive to work with you again and show you’re willing to work with them!
Create a Freebie – When you create a free resource make it of high value for your ideal target audience that they can opt in to your email list for. Checklists, Challenges, Resource Guides, or Mini Courses – there is a lot of opportunities to grow your business with freebies.
Run a Facebook Ad – They just work. Also, Facebook offers you boost or extra credit when you invest in running an Ad. Offer your freebie, products, services, or just promote your page. This is a great way to get seen by your ideal clients looking for your services or products.
Network in Facebook Groups – They are gold mines and worth investing some time into! There are groups made just for networking, groups filled with business owners of all industries, and you can do a simple search to find the right ones to start networking in.
Attend a Meetup or Networking Event, Especially the Virtual Events – Here you can share your business! Check with the local chamber of commerce, business groups, or business events you can attend and network with others. Also, don’t forget to include your business name as the display name in virtual events!
Host a Giveaway – Want to get new eyes on your brand? Give something away! Who doesn’t like to get something for FREE? Whether it’s products or even a service, this can give you a pool of new people who need what you have to market to in the future. Also, a good way to build an email list!
Blog - Write about help tips or experiences that involve around your products or services. It’s a great way to educate consumers about why they should buy into what you’re offering.
Create a Free Google Business Account - Making a Business Profile on Google My Business helps drive customer engagement with local customers across Google Search and Maps. If you want to be found locally as the go-to source get this done!
Use Social Media – I know, this is a given but so many businesses literally grow from the ground up using social media. If you’re on social media you cannot scroll without seeing a promotion from a business. Many small businesses do not think they can use them but they should! If you need some ideas for marketing your business on social media, this post will give you the goods.
These are just a few helpful things I have implemented and advise my clients as well when I create social media templates or their website. There are endless opportunities to market your business every day so I hope these can get you started!
