Small Business Is Mighty!

Guess what? Small businesses don't have to be "big" to have a great brand or a website! Small businesses don't have to be "big" to have great marketing! Small businesses don't have to be "big" to get their name out there! Small businesses don't have to be "big" to get consumers for their goods or services! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

-

Yesterday, at a networking event and we talked about how important it is to treat your small businesses like it's a "big" one! All the important things a "big" business one has to do with branding, financially, marketing, and etc wise, a small one has to do as well. Then today, I talked website strategy with a client to not to be scared to market their services they can offer reasonably because they're not "big"( they think they have to be because of what they are seeing online with their competition but that's a different post for another day). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When I work with small businesses with on their branding from the ground up it’s exciting and scary at the same time. They’re excited to have great visual branding but scared of using it because they’re not big yet! After discussing this with them I find it’s not the case that they’re not big. It’s the case of being scared of not knowing how to use their branding assets.

-

So I do my best to educate them on how to use their branding assets to get them started for marketing in print and digital. When you start a business a lot of the grinding is done by the one who started it. So until they have a team in place I give practical tips and resources to help with the marketing side of the business.

I believe it’s important to empower small businesses as a small business owner myself. Empowering my clients to think big helps them grow and develop confidence in themselves. Which I turn effects the success of their business.
